Retelling beauty and the beast

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be sharing the start of my retelling. The story I pick to do is beauty and the beast. I am doing this for my Firay tales class I hope you like the start of it and if you see something that is wrong or if you have something I  could add to the story.

It was a beautiful day at Bell's home in a village in France. It was a normal day. Bell was getting ready to go out to the garden and do some plating of the new plants she got. When Bell got to the garden she got an email that said she had to go to the hospital. To get some tests done. After they did the test they told her that she has cancer and will die within a year. They told her there was nothing they could fix because they were too late.

Bell ran out of the hospital crying when she got to her car she started to think about running away and dying in the woods that are near her. She got home and told no one about her cancer and just ran away. When she went to the shops to get some food people talked and asked how her day was. She told them to shut up and go away. Rapunzel question

 Hello and welcome back to my blog post today I am going to be doing the blog that we have to do for our Fairy tales and Fables work. for this work that we are doing is reading Rapunzel. we had to read two different books about rapunzel. After we read them we had to do the questions. The first book the teacher read to us and then the second we had to read.  

1. Why do you think texts change over time? The books started to become books for kids.

2. How come each version we have read of Rapunzel is different, even though they have been written by the same authors? So it would be nice for modern reads.

3. What was the same or different in the two versions you read? That they both had the king jump the wall to get the flower.

year 9 takapore

 for the past month in PE, we have been doing gymnastics.

what are your feelings about gymnastics? my feelings about gymnastics are that I like it and I think it is fun 

Have you enjoyed doing gymnastics? I did not at the start but I did start to like it.

how dose resistance affect current?

 hello and welcome back to my blog pots In this blog post I am going to be talking about what we are doing in science. we have been learning about a lot of things like current and voltage, current, and resistance. we have been learning how to build our own series, parallel circuits for the main circuit we have been working on is parallel.

voltage definition: How much energy the electrons are carrying. the symblo for voltage is just a  V.

current definition: how quickly the electrons move. the symbol for this one is just an I 

resistance definition: used to slow or resist the flow of electrons the symbol for this one is an R

summary answer: when the resistance goes up the current goes down and when the resistance goes down the current goes up.

chapter 12-13 questions

 Hello and welcome back to my blog post today I am going to be doing a blog post about the questions for chapters 12 and 13 in the cay book I hope you like this blog post today and if you see that I have done anything wrong like my spelling I would like it if you told me. Volleyball

Hello and welcome back to my blog post today I am going to be talking about what I have done over the past Two weeks for Volleyball. The things that we have been doing are working on are skills I hope you like this blog post and I hope you could tell me if I have got anything wrong with my spelling.

Some of the skills before I started this unit were. I could not hit the ball when I was playing it. I could not serve the ball. The last thing that it was before was that I was too scared to hit it when it came to me in the game. Some of the skills that I have are that I am good at hitting the ball and serving the ball I am getting good at hitting the ball when it comes to me but I am not the beast. 

There are not some specific skills I think I could use in a game but I think I could use my serving. One of the hardest things in volleyball trying to keep your ea on the ball when it is coming to you. Somethings I like about volleyball is just playing for fun and not to win. If I do PE next year I will try getting better at setting it and doing my overhead hitting.

pontoon bridges

hello and welcome back to my blog post. Today I am going to be talking about what I am doing for my Do Now blog post. For this, I am going to be talking about pontoon bridges and how they were built, and why they were made. I hope you like this blog post and if something is wrong I would like to know so I can fix it next time do a blog post.

the reason they are built is so the arm could get over the water easily and fast. They were built by putting a boat and then a log of wood and they tie it to some planks. They can be put up and taken down easily. They are easy to move well they are still being used.

The boat has four big sails on it and they are like white but if you are out at sea for a long time then it might go a cream color. Sometimes the schooner might have more than four sails. The boat length is about 131 feet long and at the start of the boat, It has a face head on it and that is carved in. Somethings you might see at the sea is water and other people with there boats.

                                                               

U-boat facts

 hello to whoever reads this today's blog post is about U-boats for this I am going to be telling you some facts about it and a video with it I hope you like this blog if you do it would be nice if you let me do and if I got anything wrong could you tell me, please.

The normal U-boat was about 214 feet long and it took about 35 min. The u-boat could travel underwater for about 2 hours at a time. In the first few years of World War I, the U-boats took a terrible toll on Allied shipping.

I do think that it should be a public holiday because it is a time for people who believe in it to remember it and for the people who do not think that it is true it is a day for them to just relax. in some ways, I think that it would be great to have a public holiday because I think it would be a good time to speed it with family. so that is why I think that it should be a public holiday so that we can have time with family on that day so that is why I agree with the Topic. 

 I do not think that English is the most important subject to learn in school. I think that reading and spelling is because if you do not know how to read or spell then you would not know how to do any of your work and if you do not know how to spell then it will be hard to do your work. In some ways, I do think it is good to learn because you need to learn how to make Sexxxy paragraph. but I still do think that it is not the most important subject to learn. for myself i think that reading is and I think that because it will be hared to do work so that is why i think that

Your name is an important part of who you are.

I agree with this because I think that your name makes who you are. If someone has the same name as you it makes you two differ people because you have to things that people see about you. those two things are your looks and you name. if someone yelled out yor name two people could turn and say es but the porson that waht you could say if they wanted you pr someonme elas that is the reson why i think that your name is the most inportant part of who you are.

 topic: the principal is the most important person in the school.

I do think that the principal is the most important person in the school. the frists thing is because I think that they will make everyone feel safe  Because they are the people who run the school and make up what the school will do and how they will do it. They also make the school days out and what days we have are muftis days. Sometimes they are important because they will have meetings with people and they will get rid of the people who have been bad or done something bad. my reasons that I think this is because I think that they are good and get rid of the bad kids. So that is my I think that the principal is the most important person in the school.

Concentration and Dilution

you can measure in two ways:

how to dilute something is...(how weak is it)

how  Concentration something is ....(how strong it is )

means how much solute there is in the solution. a measure of how much solute has to be dissolved into the solvent 

Dilution making something less concentrated or you could say there would be fewer particles in the liquid 

the things we are doing today is called a  dilute series this is when you put something in one thing and move to another one but you only put some in like for us we put 5 mill

 I do not think that rugby is the most definitive sport of Aotearoa because when I think of New Zealand I think of sheep and the food that we have and the things that we do not just I think of rugby when I think about New Zeland. Some of the foods and things that we do in New Zealand we walk Around most of the time in jandals. the reason why I think this is because I do not like rugby but then I really like to do somethings and that is the reason why I don't not think that this is true

schools should have more mufti days?  I think that school should have more muftis days because it can help kids get the way they like to dress out and feel like they would be it. another reason why I think that schools would have more mufti days is that most of the time it is to donate to something and that is why they ask for a gold coin for if the reason why I want it is because I like to have muftis days is that and that I think that some kids need to have a break for school uniform more I don't like to have to wear the school cholaths all the time and only having one or two muftis days within two teams and I do not like they way most of it sits and what it was made out of. most people will get told off for things in their uniform and I have been told off for the things I have to wear with my uniform. Therefore is why I think that it would be this way and why we need more mufit day.

 I do think that cats are better than dogs because some dogs can be violent and can hurt people. most dogs are not like that and they are nice dogs. Some dogs do not look nice at first, but cats always look nice, and most of the cats are nice. but some do not like getting touched or even looked at. but those cats are most likely to have been in a bad home first. so that is why I think cats are better than dogs but I still like dogs. my reason is because my cat loves to sit with me and she is really nice but my dog dose not like to sit with me

 I don't think that school uniforms should be mandatory because there are people who can not buy the school uniform. But if we do not have a school uniform, some people who do not have nice things to where might get jealous if people are coming in nice things. sometimes it is good to have one if you go out with school and you want people to see what school you are in and how much you like it. the reason I do not want it because it is not nice to wear and itchy for me.

 I do not think that Elephants are the greatest animal of all time Because they are someone other animals that are better than Elephants . Some people think other ways about them. Because they know more about them than most people do. They have a lot of interesting things about them. the reason I have this is that I like other animals better than Elephants.  something that I think is better than that is is a puppy or cat.

 I do not think that our holidays would be one week long because Because some people do not have the time to see family. During the school term. Some people are busy all the time and just want two weeks for school holidays so they do have time to see friends from other schools or friends that they do not see much. Some people agree that we would have one-week-long holidays because they have nothing to do during the two week-long holidays and just sit at home doing nothing. They would be someone people that complain that they do not have long enough for fun things to do in the holidays so they want more weeks and some just hate the holidays so they want less time off school. I want to have two weeks because I like to go visit my family on the west coast. 

Term 1 PE

 Hello and welcome back to my blog post today I going to be talking about what things we have done in PE for term 1. the first thing that we did was. Athletics, Touch, Volleyball, Football and Ki o Rahi. The one I liked most was Volleyball because I knew how to play and I can hit the ball hard. The one I liked least was Touch because I can not play and it goes too fast and I get lost on how to play the game. To Improve I need to by learning the games better to play. Cultural kete-Whakanuia Ngā Ahurea

 Hello to whoever reads this. 

Today I am going to be talking about what I have done in my class with Felicity. We were working on making a big poppy. we looked at this for over a week. Before I did the poppy I was going to make tui and it would have been standing on a box of facts. But then Felicity and I wanted to work together so we made the poppy. The way we made the poppy was we got a big roll of paper and we cut it into the shape of a poppy then we paint it the colors of a poppy. Then for the last part, we put facts about the poppy and ANZAC day, and then we painted them in blue and white to show the colors of the New Zealand flag and Australia flag. Somethings that I learned was that there was an RSA thing on for ANZAC what that stands for is Returned and Services Association. What that means is one of the largest voluntary welfare organizations in New Zealand and one of the oldest ex-service organizations in the world. that .all I really learned about it because  I already knew a lot about it. Film review

Hello and welcome back to my blog today I am going to be showing some writing I have done it is about my film review I hope you like it if I get something wrong like my spelling could you let me know and if you want to hear some more about the movie you can just let me know. 

In school, we watched  Hunt for the Wilderpeople. it was made in 2016 they made it at Auckland's Waitakere Ranges. some things that are in this movie.  Ricky and Hec ran away for the child welfare place.

 the guy who plays Hec is Sam Neill. The role that he plays is Ricky's new uncle and an old man who is mad most of the time. Ricky is played by Julian Dennison his role in the movie is the troubled kid that does not have a home so he goes into the orphanage and gets put into homes with Bella and Hec. The person who played Bella is Rima Te Wiata her role was looking after Ricky with Hec but a little into the movie she passed away.

the plot of this movie was that Hec and Ricky ran away and they got caught by the child welfare. when they got caught Hec went to jail because Ricky blamed him for molesting him. somethings that I liked were when Ricky and Hec were in the car driving away for the cop and the last thing that I liked was when Ricky and Hec came together and went back into the bush. I would give the move a 4 out of 5

I am doing I had to make something showing what type of angles can be in movies. We made it on canvas.  The way we found all the photos are we looked up the shots and got the photo.
